THE EXPERIENCE

After dark, the forest you walked through today no longer exists. Something entirely different takes its place.

The Eyelash Palm Pit Viper that was invisible all day is now coiled on a branch at eye level, motionless, waiting. The Red-eyed Tree Frog that spent the afternoon hidden is now perched on a leaf in full color. The Marine Toad navigates the trail like it owns it. Guests from 12 countries have walked this trail and consistently say it's unlike any wildlife experience they've had before.

In 2 hours, Alonso covers a short route very slowly and very intentionally. He's walked this route hundreds of times. He knows where the Terciopelo waits, which tree the Mottled Owl uses. Most guests see animals they've never encountered before in their lives, standing close enough to photograph with a phone. And they're safe every step of the way.

Red-light mode is used for sensitive species, frogs and reptiles at rest, so you see them behaving naturally rather than hiding. White light is used when safe and appropriate. Most guests are amazed at how close the animals allow you to get when approached correctly.
