WHAT MOST GUESTS ASK BEFORE COMMITTING

Answers that help you decide with confidence

What equipment does Alonso provide? +

Every birding tour includes a Vortex Diamondback 65mm spotting scope and Vortex Diamondback 10x50 at no extra cost. On the Night Walk, high-lumen flashlights are provided. You don't need to bring any optics, everything is ready for you.

How early do we really need to start? +

The Birds Way and Winged Experience depart at 5:30 AM. Dawn is when 80% of tropical bird species are most active, feeding, singing, and moving. Missing that window means missing the birds. Every guest who's made the early start has told Alonso it was completely worth it. By 9 AM, activity drops significantly.

How do I book? +

WhatsApp is the fastest and most direct way. Send a message with your preferred tour, dates, and group size. Alonso responds personally within 2–4 hours, not a bot, not an assistant. A small deposit holds your date. The sooner you message, the more likely your dates are still open.

What if I'm not an experienced birder? +

Most guests aren't, and that's completely fine. Alonso adapts to every group's level, whether you have a 500-species life list or have never used binoculars before. The spotting scope means even first-timers see detail that experienced birders miss without one. You'll leave having genuinely seen something.

Can I combine tours? +

Yes, and it's one of the most popular combinations. Many guests do The Birds Way in the early morning and the Night Walk that same evening. Two completely different forests, one extraordinary day. Alonso can also combine The Birds Way with the Winged Experience across consecutive days. Ask him what works best for your dates.

Ready to secure your spot before it's gone?
